The Swiss Federation of Clinical Neuro-Societies SFCNS
The Swiss Federation of Clinical Neuro-Societies (SFCNS) was founded in Zürich by six neuro-societies in 2009. Now, 14 societies from areas of clinical neuroscience are members of the SFCNS. The federation’s aim is to promote clinical neuroscience within Switzerland and encourage interdisciplinary cooperation between different neuro disciplines. The SFCNS currently certifies ‘Stroke Centres’ and ‘Stroke Units’ throughout Switzerland, which are responsible for highly specialised medicine for the treatment of stroke nationwide.
